"As we close this chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude to every guest who graced our hotel with their presence. The laughter, the splashes, and the magical memories you created will forever be cherished. Thank you for being a part of our journey," the statement reads. Dutch Wonderland's General Manager, Megan Hartman, announced the exciting news last fall. She confirmed that the hotel will undergo a complete transformation, reopening as Dutch Wonderland Inn in March. "Our team's vision was to bring the magic of our park to life within the walls of the Inn. We wanted to create a unique experience that blends the charm of Pennsylvania Dutch Country with the beloved characters our visitors adore," Hartman explained.
So, what does this mean for Cartoon Network? Well, it seems the network is undergoing a transformation of its own. While the hotel's closure may be attributed to the challenges posed by the pandemic and rising operational costs, Cartoon Network is not giving up. With fewer originals from the network itself, Adult Swim has stepped up, developing and planning an exciting slate of original content for release throughout the year.
